Milton Keynes to Paris
In September 2008, 11 members of staff & associates from Perspective Financial Management Ltd cycled from Milton Keynes to Paris in the name of CLIC Sargent – caring for children with cancer.
The challenge was staged over four days, from the 24th to 28th of September, with two days riding in England and two in France. During the course of the ride the participants covered 270 miles of varied terrain – including some challenging hills, London during rush hour and Paris on a busy Saturday – but they all returned to tell the tale.
The reason behind this challenge was to raise valuable money for CLIC Sargent, and help them achieve the levels of support they strive to provide for their beneficiaries. At present the total figure has not been confirmed and donations are still coming in, but with the continued support of close working business partners such as AXA, Plowman Craven and EMW Law, we aim to raise £20,000 - enough to cover one nurses salary for an entire year.
We are very proud of the support we can provide charities such as CLIC Sargent; but we could not have done it without the support of friends, family and colleagues.
